Notes: Rough-cut with a saw on top. Inner bark of tree still adhering on exterior. The interior of the hole shows heavy wear, obliterating tool marks. Trunk is made from twisted hardwood. Notes: Tool marls are not obvious other than saw cuts and shaving marks, possibly for a drawknife. It is made from a split piece of light-colored hardwood. It is very heavy. The handle is weathered, but still shows some polich from use. |
